Position: Web Developer
Full time and part time position available.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be responsible for:
• Front-end website designs and development for our consumer facing website
• Liaising with other members of the team regarding implementation of specifications and requirements
• Providing time/cost estimates for development work tasks
• Assisting with testing, release preparation and support of websites and other online services
• Interacting with clients, creating web templates, developing different styles of design and layout, communicating with technical and non-technical staff and modifying 'design' based on requirements.
CANDIDATE: APTITUDES
We’re looking for someone who is
* Methodical and disciplined in approach to development tasks
* Comfortable working to a demanding schedule of work and able to set yourself high standards in terms of code quality and consistency which is thoroughly tested to achieve agreed requirements
* Ability to follow a specification and to implement it in code
* Able to raise, monitor and, where possible, resolve project or development issues
* Possesses an understanding of design concepts and ability to work with designers
* Understands the marketing-side of web design and UI development
* Possesses sound visualization & strong fundamentals of usability
